Description

Trimix CAS NO 89210-11-7 is a specialized gaseous mixture primarily composed of oxygen, helium, and nitrogen, designed for deep-diving and technical diving applications. This formulation is critical for reducing the risks of nitrogen narcosis and oxygen toxicity at significant depths, enabling safer and more efficient underwater operations. It is an essential consumable for commercial diving contractors, offshore oil and gas exploration teams, and advanced technical diving research facilities requiring precise gas management.

Application

  • Technical and Commercial Diving: Primary breathing gas for deep-sea diving operations beyond recreational limits to mitigate narcotic effects and oxygen poisoning.
  • Offshore Oil & Gas Industry: Supports underwater construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) activities on subsea infrastructure.
  • Scientific Research Diving: Used by marine biologists, archaeologists, and oceanographers for extended deep-water fieldwork.
  • Saturation Diving Systems: Integral component of the breathing gas supply in saturation habitats for prolonged underwater missions.
  • Military and Naval Operations: Employed in specialized naval diving units for covert operations, salvage, and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD).
  • Underwater Welding and Cutting: Provides a safe breathing environment for divers performing hyperbaric welding and hydraulic cutting tasks.

Quality Control

Every batch of our Trimix is produced and analyzed under stringent protocols to ensure precise gas composition, purity, and safety for human respiration. We adhere to relevant international standards for breathing air quality and high-pressure gas mixtures. A detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided with each shipment, verifying the exact percentages of oxygen, helium, and nitrogen, along with critical impurity levels for moisture, hydrocarbons, and carbon monoxide.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store dedicated high-pressure gas cylinders in a cool, well-ventilated, dry, and secure area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials. Cylinder temperature should not exceed 52°C (125°F). Keep cylinders upright and secured with valve caps in place when not in use. Separate from oxidizing agents and incompatible materials.
