Description

Lard Oil is a natural animal-derived oil obtained from the rendering of pork fat. This product is valued for its lubricating properties, emollient characteristics, and role as a chemical feedstock. It serves as a key ingredient and processing aid for manufacturers in the lubricants, leather treatment, soap making, and metalworking industries, where consistent quality and reliable supply are paramount.

Application

  • Lubricant Formulation: Used as a base or additive in specialty lubricants, cutting oils, and greases for machinery and metalworking applications.
  • Leather Processing: Acts as a fatliquoring agent to soften, waterproof, and increase the durability of leather goods.
  • Soap and Cosmetic Manufacturing: Serves as a saponifiable fat in traditional soap production and as an emollient in certain cosmetic preparations.
  • Metalworking Fluids: Employed as a component in formulations for drawing compounds, rust preventatives, and machining coolants.
  • Textile Industry: Used in fiber lubrication and as a softening agent for textiles during processing.
  • Chemical Intermediate: Provides a source of fatty acids for further chemical synthesis in oleochemical production.

Quality Control

Our Lard Oil is produced and handled under a rigorous quality management system. Each batch is tested against key parameters to ensure consistency and performance for industrial applications. While we offer standard technical and industrial grades, specifications can be adjusted based on customer requirements. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided with every shipment to guarantee transparency and compliance.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat sources and incompatible materials. Due to its tendency to be easily oxidized, it is recommended to store under an inert atmosphere (e.g., nitrogen) for long-term preservation and to minimize rancidity. Ideal storage temperature is between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F).
