Description

Palm Oil is a versatile and widely produced vegetable fat derived from the fruit of the oil palm tree. Its unique fatty acid profile, offering a semi-solid consistency at room temperature and high oxidative stability, makes it a critical ingredient for numerous industrial and food applications. This product is essential for manufacturers in the food, oleochemical, and personal care industries seeking a reliable, cost-effective, and functional fat source.

Application

  • Food Manufacturing: Used as a key ingredient in shortenings, margarines, confectionery fats, frying oils, and non-dairy creamers.
  • Oleochemical Industry: Serves as a primary feedstock for the production of fatty acids, fatty alcohols, methyl esters, and glycerol.
  • Personal Care & Cosmetics: Incorporated into soaps, creams, lotions, and shampoos for its emollient and texturizing properties.
  • Biofuel Production: Utilized as a raw material for the synthesis of biodiesel (palm oil methyl ester).
  • Animal Feed: Provides a concentrated source of energy and fat-soluble vitamins in feed formulations.
  • Industrial Lubricants: Acts as a base or additive in the formulation of biodegradable lubricants and greases.

Quality Control

Our Palm Oil is sourced and processed under stringent quality management systems. We offer various grades, including Crude (CPO), Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized (RBDPO), and specialty fractions like Olein and Stearin, which can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements. Each batch is tested against key parameters to ensure consistency, purity, and compliance with food safety and industry standards. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing specifications for free fatty acids (FFA), moisture, color, and peroxide value is provided with every shipment.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from heat sources and incompatible materials. For long-term storage of bulk quantities, maintaining a temperature above the melting point (typically 30-40°C) in insulated tanks under a nitrogen blanket is recommended to prevent oxidation and maintain quality. This product is easily oxidized; storage under an inert atmosphere is advised for optimal shelf life.
