Description

Soybean Oil is a premium, naturally derived vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of the soybean plant (Glycine max). As a versatile and cost-effective lipid source, it serves as a fundamental ingredient and processing aid across numerous industries. Key sectors that rely on its functional properties include food manufacturing, animal feed production, biofuel synthesis, and the chemical industry for oleochemical derivatives.

Application

  • Food Industry: Used as a cooking oil, salad oil, and as a key ingredient in margarines, shortenings, mayonnaise, and baked goods.
  • Animal Feed & Nutrition: Incorporated as a high-energy fat source and essential fatty acid supplement in poultry, swine, and aquaculture feeds.
  • Biodiesel Production: Acts as a primary feedstock for transesterification to produce fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) biodiesel.
  • Oleochemicals: A vital raw material for manufacturing soaps, detergents, lubricants, plasticizers, and surfactants.
  • Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Excipient: Utilized as a carrier oil, emollient, and solvent in topical formulations, creams, and lotions.
  • Industrial Applications: Employed as a mold release agent, dust control agent, and a component in paints, inks, and resins.

Quality Control

Our Soybean Oil is produced and tested under a stringent quality management system to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and compliance with relevant industry standards, including Food Chemical Codex (FCC) and USP-NF where applicable. Each lot is accompanied by a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing key parameters such as acid value, peroxide value, fatty acid profile, and absence of specific contaminants. We support compliance with global regulations including FDA, REACH, and Kosher/Halal certifications upon request.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area at temperatures between 15-25°C (59-77°F). Due to its nature of being easily oxidized, it is recommended to store under an inert atmosphere (nitrogen blanket) for long-term preservation and to minimize contact with strong acids or reactive organic solvents. Keep away from heat sources and open flames.
