Description
Vegetable Oil - Mist, Total Except Castor, Cashew Nut, Or Similar Irritating Oil is a complex mixture of aerosolized vegetable oils, specifically excluding known irritants like castor and cashew nut oils. This product matters for industrial applications requiring a fine, non-irritating oil mist for lubrication, release, or protective coating purposes. It is needed by manufacturers in sectors such as metalworking, plastics, rubber, and food processing machinery where safe, effective mist lubrication is critical.
Application
- Metalworking & Machining: As a non-irritating mist lubricant and coolant for cutting, grinding, and stamping operations.
- Plastics & Rubber Processing: For mold release and as an internal lubricant to aid processing and prevent sticking.
- Food-Grade Machinery Lubrication: In equipment where incidental contact with food is possible (subject to specific grade approval).
- Textile Manufacturing: For fiber lubrication to reduce breakage and static during spinning and weaving.
- Dust Suppression: Applied as a mist to control dust in material handling and processing environments.
- Corrosion Preventive Coatings: To provide a temporary protective film on metal parts and components.
- General Purpose Industrial Lubrication: For chains, gears, and bearings where an oil mist system is employed.

Quality Control
Our Vegetable Oil Mist is produced and tested under a rigorous quality management system. While specific grades vary, our production adheres to principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Key parameters such as viscosity, acid value, peroxide value, and the absence of specified irritants are controlled. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided with each batch, and specifications can be aligned with relevant industry standards such as NSF H1 for incidental food contact or ISO standards for industrial lubricants upon request.
Storage
Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat sources and open flame. Recommended storage temperature is between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F). Due to its highly volatile nature when aerosolized, ensure containers are properly sealed when not in use to prevent evaporation and concentration changes.
