Description
Ti6 Al4 V Alloy is a high-strength, lightweight titanium alloy composed primarily of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium. This material is critical for applications demanding an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance. It is an essential engineering material for the aerospace, medical implant, and high-performance automotive industries. The alloy is also known by its common designation, Grade 5 titanium.
Application
- Aerospace Components: Critical for aircraft structural parts, jet engine components, and airframe fittings.
- Medical Implants & Devices: Used in orthopedic implants (hips, knees), dental implants, and surgical instruments due to its biocompatibility.
- Marine & Offshore Engineering: Employed in seawater piping systems, ship hull components, and offshore rigs for superior corrosion resistance.
- High-Performance Automotive: Utilized in racing engine components, connecting rods, and exhaust systems to reduce weight and improve performance.
- Chemical Processing Equipment: Ideal for valves, pumps, and heat exchangers handling corrosive media.
- Consumer Goods & Sporting Equipment: Found in high-end bicycle frames, golf clubs, and premium watch cases.

Quality Control
Our Ti6 Al4 V Alloy is manufactured and tested to meet stringent international material standards, including ASTM B265, ASTM F136, and AMS 4911. Quality assurance protocols include chemical composition verification via optical emission spectrometry (OES) and mechanical property testing (tensile, yield strength, elongation). A comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (COA) and material certification traceable to the melt lot are provided with each shipment.
Storage
Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area at room temperature (15-25°C). Keep away from strong acids and strong oxidizing agents. For long-term storage of finished products, a controlled, low-humidity environment is recommended to prevent surface oxidation.
