Description

Fuels, Diesel, No. 2 is a middle distillate fuel oil, a complex mixture of hydrocarbons produced from the fractional distillation of crude oil. It is a critical energy source prized for its high energy density and efficient combustion properties in compression-ignition engines. This product is essential for the transportation, construction, agriculture, and power generation industries, where reliable and powerful fuel is required for heavy-duty machinery, trucks, marine vessels, and backup generators.

Application

  • On-Road Transportation Fuel: Primary fuel for diesel-powered trucks, buses, and commercial freight vehicles.
  • Off-Road & Heavy Equipment: Powers construction machinery, agricultural tractors, excavators, and mining equipment.
  • Marine Diesel Fuel: Used in many commercial and recreational marine vessels with diesel engines.
  • Stationary Power Generation: Fuel for industrial backup generators, remote power stations, and prime power applications.
  • Rail Transportation: Fuel for diesel-electric locomotives.
  • Heating Oil: Used in some regions as fuel for residential and commercial heating furnaces and boilers.

Quality Control

Our Fuels, Diesel, No. 2 is produced and tested to meet or exceed stringent international and regional fuel standards, including ASTM D975 (USA), EN 590 (Europe), and other national specifications. Each batch undergoes comprehensive analysis for critical parameters such as cetane number, sulfur content, viscosity, and cold flow properties. Certificates of Analysis (COA) documenting full specification compliance are available upon request to ensure your operational and regulatory requirements are met.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in dedicated, properly labeled fuel tanks or containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Maintain storage temperatures below 38°C (100°F) to minimize evaporation and degradation. Tanks should be kept clean and dry to prevent microbial growth and water contamination. Follow all local and national regulations for the storage of flammable liquids.
