Description

Kerosene CAS NO 64771-72-8 is a refined petroleum distillate consisting of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons. Its primary value lies in its excellent balance of energy density, volatility, and stability, making it a versatile fuel and solvent. This product is essential for industries requiring a reliable, clean-burning fuel source or a specific hydrocarbon solvent for industrial processes.

Application

  • Aviation Turbine Fuel (Jet A, Jet A-1): The primary application as a high-quality fuel for commercial and military jet aircraft.
  • Heating and Lighting Fuel: Used in portable heaters, lamps, and cooking stoves, especially in areas without access to natural gas or electricity.
  • Industrial Fuel and Process Heating: Powers furnaces, boilers, and kilns in manufacturing, ceramics, and metal processing industries.
  • Solvent and Carrier Fluid: Acts as a solvent in pesticide formulations, degreasing applications, and as a carrier in the manufacture of paints and coatings.
  • Diesel Engine Fuel: Used in certain types of tractors, heavy machinery, and generators, often as a lower-cost alternative to diesel.
  • Chemical Feedstock: Serves as a raw material for producing other chemicals through processes like cracking and reforming.

Quality Control

Our Kerosene is produced and tested to meet stringent international fuel specifications, including DEF STAN 91-91 (Jet A-1), ASTM D1655, and ISO 8217. Each batch undergoes rigorous analysis for critical parameters such as flash point, freezing point, sulfur content, and thermal stability to ensure performance and safety. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided with every shipment, confirming compliance with the agreed specifications.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Due to its highly volatile nature, storage tanks and containers should be properly grounded to prevent static discharge. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents. Recommended storage temperature is between 15°C and 25°C.
