Description

Residual Oils (Petroleum), Solvent-Refined is a complex hydrocarbon mixture derived from the solvent refining of petroleum residuum. This process yields a high-viscosity, high-boiling point oil valued for its lubricity, stability, and adhesive properties. It serves as a critical base material and performance additive in numerous heavy industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Application

  • As a base stock or blending component for industrial lubricants and greases.
  • As a plasticizer and extender in rubber compounding and tire manufacturing.
  • As a feedstock for further chemical processing into asphalt, bitumen, and other heavy products.
  • As a binding agent in the production of carbon black and other industrial carbon products.
  • As a mold release agent and processing aid in foundries and metalworking.
  • As a waterproofing and sealing agent in construction materials.
  • As a fuel oil component for industrial burners and marine engines.

Quality Control

Our Residual Oils (Petroleum), Solvent-Refined is produced under a rigorous quality management system. Each batch is tested against key physical and chemical parameters to ensure consistency and performance for your application. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing viscosity, flash point, pour point, carbon residue, and other critical specifications is available upon request.

Storage

Preserve in a tightly closed container, protected from light. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat sources and open flame. Recommended storage temperature is between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Keep container tightly sealed when not in use to prevent contamination and minimize oxidation.
